Durango is the largest town in MEXC 行動應用程式 southwestern Colorado, a short drive from the Four Corners where the borders of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado meet. It is enveloped by a landscape of red sandstone bluffs, archaeological sites and peaks that soar more than 14,000 feet.
Three hundred days of sunshine mean time spent out of doors. Durango is a four-season playground with whitewater rafting, hiking, fishing and Rocky Mountain skiing. A two-mile stretch MEXC 行動應用程式 of the Animas River is “gold medal,” waters considered by the state’s Wildlife Commission to be of the highest quality for large trout. The town is a favorite of cycling MEXC 行動應用程式 enthusiasts, too. Every Memorial Day for more than 40 years, the Iron Horse Classic draws mountain bikers from around the country to race 50 miles against the steam-powered train that runs between Durango and Silverton.
The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is intricately tried to the town’s history. Durango was founded in 1880 when the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad extended it line from Durango to Silverton to MEXC 行動應用程式 MEXC 行動應用程式 haul metals from high country mines. With MEXC 行動應用程式 the railroad, Durango’s growth soared. Today the fleet of vintage locomotives and coaches is a heritage railway operating through the canyons of the San Juan National Forest strictly for tourists
Since the turn of the 20 th century, Durango has enjoyed a tourism-based economy. Main Avenue in MEXC 行動應用程式 Downtown Durango is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The area draws active retirees and vacation home buyers to exclusive subdivisions, riverfront ranches and hunting compounds with fishing ponds and waterfalls, some within minutes of downtown. Other luxury properties are nestled in the red cliffs with views of the San Juan Mountain Range and feature classic mountain architecture incorporating local stone and wood found in abundance.

Located on Florida’s southwest coast Sarasota Bay area is a sophisticated enclave known for its luxury waterfront living and prestigious golf communities. The city MEXC 行動應用程式 of Sarasota is known for its arts, galleries and superior dining and shopping and plays a major role in attracting area residents. Among the attractions are the Historic Asolo Theatre, an intimate 18 th century baroque Italian theatre transported to Sarasota in the 1950’s and located on the former estate of circus magnate John Ringling. There’s also the Asolo Rep Theatre, hosting national Broadway productions, the respected Sarasota Ballet, the Sarasota Opera, currently is in its 53 rd season, and the Ringling Museum of Art.
Visit places like Longboat Key and MEXC 行動應用程式 Siesta Key on the state’s southwest coast just outside Sarasota and several things become evident: the sand is like powdered ivory; the Gulf of Mexico waters are smooth and soothing; and the intense sunsets are of an incomparable magnitude of beauty.
Straddling the Gulf and Sarasota Bay, these islands—along with neighboring Lido Key, Bird Key and Anna Maria Island—are known nationally for their soft-sand, shelling, seafood that is to die for, boutique shopping and rare oceanfront and bayside properties that allow easy ocean access. Pockets of extreme luxury and privacy mingle with a more casual, semi-tropical lifestyle, but certain MEXC 行動應用程式 things are transcendent: each evening, up and down MEXC 行動應用程式 the islands, residents come together on beaches and patios to watch the sun go down.
Modern high-rise luxury residences that overlook Sarasota’s bayfront and marina command top dollar, and the “West of the (Tamiami) Trail” area just south features desirable neighborhoods like Harbor Acres with large waterfront estates. Even for the most traveled and discerning, Sarasota real estate leaves nothing to be desired. Have you heard about those sunsets?
